Hey Iman, it’s a pleasure to talk to you!

A: To you, too! :)

Tell us all a little bit about yourself firstly so we can get to know you better.

A: My name’s Imanuelle, but everyone calls me Iman. I’m from the Philippines. I lived in Bangalore, India with my family for 3 years. I’m currently living and working here in Dubai with my husband for the past 5 years.

What does a typical weekend look like for you?

A: Basically, trying to get all my cooking and cleaning done but I always end up sleeping in late. Lol. Some family time. Maybe even a night out with friends or just a quiet time alone at home with my husband.

Where is one place in the world you recommend people go and see?

A: Bangkok, Thailand. You must visit at least once in your life! It’s an amazing city, with super friendly locals. You will never forget your trip to Bangkok. I keep dreaming about going back there. I really hope I can soon! You are always going to have that itch to visit Bangkok again and again and again.

Onto your current position with ZB, what’s your role in the team? How long have you been with the company for?

A: It’s been more than a couple of months now. It’s been great and I’m really grateful to be a part of such dynamic and diverse global team. I pretty much just try to meet everyone’s design needs everyday. From graphics to videos, for socials and for anything at all. You name it!

What were your first impressions of the company when you joined?

A: Very diverse. Really open and welcoming. Huge possibilities ahead for everybody!

What does a typical day in the office look like for you?

A: Flitting from one browser tab and design program to another. Trying out one design look and feel one after the other. A lot of editing and changes. Some days are easier than others. As a designer, you just try to power through it and hope to God you get it right on the first try. When you don’t, it can be pretty tough, but you eventually get there. By the time, you’re just about to give up, there’ll be at least one design option you provided that gets the job done. And you just breathe a heavy sigh of relief and move on to the next task.

What was your experience with cryptocurrency before you joined ZB?

A: Very little. I always used to just hear about it from my friends. I signed up myself for one exchange and just left it alone. I didn’t even deposit any amount, much less start trading. I always just kept hearing that crypto was crashing so I was too scared to lose my money.

What do you feel like you want to achieve with the company from a personal perspective?

A: Establish the overall ZB brand design and getting famous for it. I want to be the one to position ZB in the market as a trusted and go-to crypto exchange platform with my designs.

What’s next for ZB? Where do you see it heading?

A: Hopefully, crushing the competition. Being the number one crypto exchange in the world. In an ideal setting, everyone would have the ZB app on their phone. And when people think of trading or getting into cryptocurrency, they would immediately think ZB and not any other platform.

And what about crypto in general? What does the future hold for it?

A: Crypto in general is very unpredictable. I think that’s what makes it so exciting and yet very scary all at the same time. It’s for risk takers. It’s for people who are ready for the possibility to gain a lot and lose a lot at the same time. But isn’t that the way of life? You must put one foot forward after the other or else you’ll end up staying exactly where you are 10 years from now. But with Crypto, there’s that sense of hope that you’ll end up somewhere bigger and better.

And finally…you’ve got one last meal. What are you having?

A: A McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger with Large Fries and Large Coke, please! Oh, and as many Chicken McNuggets I can eat. Don’t forget the Barbecue sauce. ;) Do I also get to order dessert?
